“Young Men Leading Change” is a youth leadership program for young men aged 15-25.
This is a mix of sports, entertainment, and food all centered around conversations about how men can address gender based violence and violence against women in their community.
The program runs for 10 weeks and includes a funded youth-led project to address these issues within their community.
It's Free and includes Gym, Refreshments and more.
We believe that as a community, we can and should listen to the voices of newcomer youth. Through programs like this, we help train young people on how to make a positive difference in their communities, expand youth knowledge, and enhance their understanding of Canadian culture, systems, values, rights and responsibilities.
We are here to empower immigrant youth to make informed choices that are consistent with their values and help them achieve their dreams.
When: Jan. 22 - April 15, 2019
